Kenyatta University, Amphitheatre
At the 4th Annual National Conference hosted by the Accounting Students association Kenyatta University, we participated in discussions shaping Kenya’s future workforce and professional standards.
The conference, themed “Cultivating Professional Excellence and Ethics in the Digital Era,” looked into how integrity and adaptability define success in the modern workplace.
The discussions also addressed persistent challenges, including evolving job market demands and the need for digital competence across professional sectors.
Participants shared perspectives on how structured mentorship and practical exposure can bridge these gaps.
KESA values such engagement that bridges academic learning with professional practice.
Our team was led by Moffat Njoroge Kiarii Deputy Organising and Legal Secretary, supported by Denis Katingi, Chairperson PRM, and SILVIA MUNYI, PRM Member.
The delegation was hosted by Ruth Makena Munini, Delegate and President of the Accounting Students association Kenyatta University.
Representatives from KASNEB, KPMG, ACCA, Odoo, RSM, PKF, and the World Bank Group were also present and contributed to the dialogue.
KESA commends the leadership of the ASA-KU for convening this timely and impactful conference.
