Meet Hopkins Opiyo from Meru Universit of Science and Technology. Hopkins graduated with First Class Honours in Commerce (Finance option).
He is also a CPA in progress, having successfully completed the first two levels of the certification.

Hopkins and his team represented Meru University at the KESA 3rd National Economics Summit, held at the Multimedia University of Kenya.
It was the university’s first time participating in the competition, and they secured an impressive fifth position.
Building on that success, Hopkins founded the Business and Economics Club (BEC) and led its official launch, securing full recognition within the institution.
The club is now a recognised organisation under KESA. His leadership transformed the School of Business and Economics and earned him recognition as the Best Faculty Representative.
