The Economics Students Association of Kenya (KESA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), marking a major step in advancing youth engagement in public policy and economics.
The MOU was officially signed by KESA President Victor Kimwamu and KIPPRA Executive Director Dr Rose Ngugi during a ceremony held at KIPPRA offices in Nairobi.
Other Executive Council present were Deputy President Marion Wachia, Secretary General Erick Okwayo, and Organising and Legal Secretary Moses Muchiri Mwangi.
Also in attendance were Dr Eliud Moyi, Principal Policy Analyst at KIPPRA, Ms Jane Mugambi, Senior Legal Officer, and officials from the KESA National Executive Council.
This partnership opens up exciting opportunities for KESA members, including mentorship programmes, training in public policy and planning, and collaboration in research and joint workshops.
It reflects KESA’s commitment to connecting young economists with institutions that shape policy and drive development across Kenya.
