KESA joined GOMYCODE on Friday, 24 October, at Hackerspace, Westside Towers, Nairobi.
Represented by Feisal Mahaba, the session aimed at celebrating GOMYCODE's second anniversary and launching GOMYCODE for Business.
The programme focuses on building practical AI skills for individuals and companies through AI tools.
Speaking at the event, Mahaba said KESA sees AI as an enabler that complements our daily operations.
"At KESA, we see AI as an enabler, not a threat," he said. "Our goal is to prepare our members to use these tools to build real solutions for today’s challenges."
KESA and GOMYCODE have existing structured Memorandum of Understanding that supports skills development and collaboration.
Through this partnership, members gain access to training, mentorship, and exposure to new technologies shaping the world of work.
Mellany Msengezi, the general manager at GOMYCODE, welcomed KESA’s involvement, saying such partnerships create shared growth.
"We are creating learning spaces that connect directly to people’s goals," she said. "Working with organisations such as KESA helps us reach learners who are ready to explore and apply new skills."
The event brought together trainers, innovators, and young professionals who share one belief of learning, relearning and unlearning.
