A delegation of KESA members attended the Global Youth Environmental Assembly (YEA3) which brought together young leaders, environmental advocates and innovators who are at the forefront of shaping a sustainable future.

Our members joined conversations on circular economy, climate finance, environmental education, green labour market, mining and extractions, pollution, innovative solutions.

"Given that YEA 2025 focuses on youth engagement for a sustainable future, innovative financial mechanisms that support young people in implementing local climate and environmental projects should be adopted, keeping in mind that funding still remains one of the major constraints when it comes to project implementation." "Environmental education should be at the heart of this year's Executive Summary in the Youth Declaration for UNEA7.
